TaxBrain uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies (like localStorage) to run the site, measure usage, and improve the product. This page lists every one, what it does, and how long it lasts.
Non-essential cookies are blocked by default on your first visit and only set after you opt in via the consent banner. You can change your choices at any time using the Cookie settings link here, or the same link in the footer.
Strictly necessary
Always onRequired for the site to work. These are set without consent because the site literally cannot function without them — they carry your quiz progress, protect against bots, and remember your consent choices.

Analytics

Third parties
Some cookies are set by third-party services we use. They are listed in the tables above, along with which service sets them. Each processor has a written agreement with us and is listed in full in our Privacy Policy.
Changing or withdrawing consent
Use the Cookie settings link at any time to re-open the banner, review your choices, and toggle categories on or off. Changes apply immediately for the current session and are remembered for future visits via the CookieConsent cookie.
You can also block or clear cookies directly in your browser. That will prevent the site from remembering your quiz progress and your consent choices, but the site will still work.
